Bank of Cyprus announces that the following members of the Board of Directors have today
submitted their resignation:

Andreas Artemis (Chairman)
Vassilis G.Rologis (Member)
Costas Z. Severis (Member)
Anna Diogenous (Member)
Takis Arapoglou (Member)

The Board of Directors has not accepted the resignations. In accordance with the Articles of Association of the Company the resignations will only apply if not withdrawn within one week.

supposedly the rest will have similar controls in place but judging by the mess they are in... who knows...
they said theyd have to clear this up until tomorrow afternoon

This country is better off going bankrupt so that we can hopefully replace the merry-go-round of incompetent fools who keep coming to power at our peril. I don’t want any of these punks anywhere near the presidential palace any more.

They do not even respect the flag of Cyprus; in fact they have never respected the independence of Cyprus (<- nobody else in the history of mankind has been so daft as to take independence for granted) and would happily collaborate with foreign garbage like Greece to destroy this place in a heartbeat.

All this AKEL, DISY, EDEK, and DIKO amateur crap should be annihilated… scourged earth policy!

What we really need is a complete RESET in Cyprus.

From 1960 when independence was granted to 2013, all we have seen is 53 years of calamity after calamity!

The two things that stand out during these 53 years of Cyprus are…

TREASON and INCOMPETENCE

This whole thing has been nothing but a miserably failed experiment.

Our dear GR... do you or anyone else honestly think that anything will really change despite the devastation to people's savings, to business funds, to employment etc etc...??? Do we seriously think bankers and politicians will be held to account...???

Did things change after Mari...??? When lives and not just money were lost...???
