No, VP, you are the hypocrite here. The majority of Greek Cypriots have long abandoned enosis and have no wish to unite with Greece. You however still wish to unite the north of the island with Turkey. You say so without embarrassment.

Why? Do you think a united Cyprus will become part of Greece? That is impossible. So why do you want to see the north of Cyprus as a Turkish province? What is your fear of a united independent Cyprus?

I think we all know the answer to that question. You have never given up on the idea of taksim. You want to force partition on the island and that is why there is still a Cyprus problem.

In truth you, and Turkish Cypriots like you, are the problem.

Earlier than that, surely? Talat recently said that Turkish Cypriots need a solution desperately before they are effectively wiped out from the north. Of course, Eroglu and his acolyte VP, don't think this is a problem as they are Turkish arselickers.

Hold on a minute it was ok when you wanted enosis which for us meant a death sentence, can you explain this hypocritical viewpoint to us?

The concept of enosis didn't initially represent a death sentence to the TCs as they would have been an ethnic minority living in Greece, like the Turks that currently live in Greece - it was the subsequent manipulation of GCs and TCs by the British, for their own interests, that stoked up ethnic tensions between Cypriots.

The irony is that since the Turkish invasion and poplation transfer from mainland Turkey, any trace of the real TCs will be all but gone in Cyprus.

Why do you ignore the fact that we did not want to be part of Greece, it was against our wishes so therefore for was not better than a death sentence, then arent you being a hypocrite when you object to only 37% of the island becoming Turkey whereas you were greedy and wanted to force 100% of the to be gifted to Greece.

You had no problems with merging with greeks but now think that it wrong for the TCs to merge with Turks again this make you the biggest hypocrites around.

I'm not ignoring that fact at all.

I'm just pointing out the that if the real TCs where part of either a united Cyprus or part of Greece (God Forbid!), they as a community will not be dwindling in Cyprus - the irony is that it has taken Turkey to effectively wipe them off the island.

Better them than you, when will you realize this? we would rather be Turkish than Greek...why do you have a problem understanding this very basic fact.

Demon you are joking right, you only abandoned enosis because we stopped you, otherwise one way or another we have long disappeared off this island forever. The fact that now after being stopped you claim to have abandoned this dream makes no difference whatsoever the damage and course of Cyprus has been changed, the arrow had left the bow (old Turkish saying) so thats why the taksim ideology lives on it never really went away, so why are you so surprised? The problem is not TCs like me but people like you have a mental blockage understanding that the island has been divided forever and will only be united if you can get the other side to agree, it cannot be done unilaterally no matter how many rulings and resolutions you collect.

Makarios abandoned enosis from at least 1967-68 with the rise of the junta in Athens.

So now you appreciate that there is a new state of affairs which was caused by the enosis dream of the GCs.

boulio my friend you aint got a clue.

roc parliament voted for enosis in 1967 unanimously. now why would makarios vote for it then change his mind. you need to learn your history with a bit more accuracy.

let me help you a bit more.

1972 dengtash and clerides agreed on the 13 points for the constitution excluding enosis and taksim. makarios vetoed it saying i did not accept an agreement in 1960 excluding enosis to accept another one in 1972.

i am afraid your meglomaniac masochistic priest took his enosis mentality to the grave.
