Another down day at the Istanbul Market, as well as in the Turkish Lira.

Few kurus here and a few kurus there, it's beginning to add to some serious money loss, isn't that right, Lordo :?:

USD/TRY 1.9543 +0.0167

Basically, the TL has lost about 40% of it's highest value against the USD in the last 5 years. That's about the similar "haircut" on the TL by the major world currencies as what Troika did to the RoC. :wink:

Turkey's stock market has lost a whopping 23,000 point, or 25% in the last few weeks. WOW!

Great economies do not act this way, so who's been telling porkies that Turkey has a great economy?

who cares about the stock market. they are like wolves in there. the only way to make money is for the prices to change. they will come back up soon enough don't you worry about a thing.

you mean like what happened to greece. i am afraid greece is expendable but terkey on the other hand is not. the economy is in good shape. when akp big knobs open their eyes they know what to do and the problem will be solved. assuming of course that it does not go to elections. if it does akp will lose for sure as they only got 30% last time.
