I resent study shows that over the next 10-15 years after the solution of the Cyprus problem (if that happens) about 10 billion pounds will be needed, more than half of those will be needed for the reconstruction of the north. Who is gona give all that money. I don't think EU or US will pay for the 100% of that ammount. I am afraid that Greek Cypriots will again have to put their hand deep in their pocket. This would be unfair!!
I think both Turkish Cypriots, and especially Turkey should pay big part of it. Turkey caused most of the problem in the first place, and Turkish Cypriots are the majority of the people that are going to live in the north. So why should we pay again???

Once reunification happens, Greece will CERTAINLY give a LOT of money for re-construction and aid. I'm pretty sure Turkey will too. All I know is it's up to Turkey and Greece to pay, both countries share a great role.

I am sure that Greece will try to help as much as possbile. But we are talking about billions here! I don't think Greece can afford a big part of this ammount. Are you from Greece?

And I doubt that Turkey will want to help much. In any case, we would prefere if Turkey stops spending money for Cyprus (for the Turkish occupatiopn army, supporting Denktash etc), we would be all better of is such thing happens!
