Reported in the press of the Occupied Areas today...

The head of the KTOS Trades Union has again been very critical of the interference by Turkey in the Occupied Areas.

He accuses Turkey of promoting the election of Kooshit to leader of the "ruling" UBP party with the Turkish deputy PM and various Turkish ministers attending rallies in support of Kooshit and canvassing for him.

He goes on to be outspoken about the ways that Turkey controls the Occupied Areas through what he calls a "puppet regime" by maintaining the partition of 1974 and derails the attempts of the CYs living directly under the Occupation to assert themselves politically and culturally.
