... look elsewhere, say in Europe, where these ultra-nationalist parties get several percent of the popular vote; in CY last Sunday the ELAM toe-rags got less than 1%.

...i am saying that Turkey, like North Korea, are stuck with a deep state that chooses to exploit the fear they have created themselves.

indeed bill, Cypriots are tolerant, given their circumstances as a State, they continue to respect Principals much higher, such as Charity, and Grace; they remain Hopeful, in Good Faith. we may criticise their manner in business, or when individually they express themselves without reserve. but deep within they, the Cypriots who suffer the occupation are a solid People who, even with the dysfunction of, what is, a constant state of war from Turkey's attention by proxy with the British and "Greeks", they (Cypriots) are still demonstrating the qualities that Human Beings have admired of them for millenia. we can hope for elections in the north soon, and in the south we can hope that they will recogise an opportunity to raise with them the Cypriot flag higher.


...say it again, halil, (if you dare), i love Cyprus, first. let's be the millions against the very few we know who are out to hurt us, why not join us, rather than mock the good who seek an end to the Injustice?
