Cypriotism, is not dead as you say, that is your opinion speaking as a "Turk". i suggest, what is dead is Turkey's push to identify the Problem as one between Turks and Greeks (Turkey and Greece). with the creation of the EU, and the membership of Cyprus within it, forces are naturally evolving for these acts to be demonstrated with the creation of one Cyprus, finally Free and Sovereign, rather than a piece of real-estate torn in two.

So when TMT murdered Dervis Ali Kavazoglu it was because he was working for enosis and EOKA.

If there was no eoka there would not have been a need for tmt and without the tmt he would not have died.

And by the same token had the Ottomans not invaded the island and left behind a small tc community there would be no Cyprus problem now and no one would be dead.

That is true to an extent but we had no say in those events but we did after we agreed to build a united Cyprus in 1960.

...pardon me you are indignant, i have expressed my opinions on ELAM very clearly in the past, and against such attacks, already. i remind you, your first post, you started this topic, and as i've said, very clever. but, what else was said, if you will reread it?

...and if you found, that, news (an election result, less than 1%; to mix with a bunch of Spartans), do you remember the news where their views were met with opposition on the streets when they demonstrated, weren't these people, Cypriots too? don't they deserve your support? there is a big difference with what you say are "Greeks", and what Greeks really are. i guess you did not mean to. you may express a concern we all feel, but i ask you to be more careful, you can express what hurts you without being hurtful. i am sorry halil, but i expect more from you; my friend.
