So what do you think they are hiding? The fact that perhaps they lost 10,000- 15,000-20,000 what?

Might be the case, you killed thousands of the Turkish soldiers as they tried to land on the beaches and you ask why they responded with such ferocity against you, they had to drop the soldiers in by air. Do you ever wonder if you had of greeted this guarantor nation with flowers what might have been?

...and you are a vlaka vp for speculating such a large number were killed where it should be speculated that far fewer than 4,000 were killed, meeting no fierce resistence but the few Cypriots who could fight, there being no mass uprising, there being an exodus, against Turkey's NATO seasoned Army with a brutal plan. to stick to the facts, (or what glorifies the fighting spirit of "Turks" because afterall we should be assuming they are better than "Greeks"), there were no thousands who died trying to land, and like all Cypriots, their fear, was focused on extremists and a return to Good Government, not the Guarantor, who landed a beach head. and in the two weeks to follow proceeded to cleanse from their territory any remnant of the Cyprus they signed to be committed to protect.

repulse you really need to visit the GC "mevzis" in the mountains above the beaches where the Turkish army tried to land, the GCs prepared these mevzis and armed themselves over 11 years and greeted the TA with bombs and bullets thousands died thats why the air drop of soldiers was ordered, you triggered off the ferocity of the TA, do you think they would have attacked anyone of they were met with flowers and water on that hot day in 1974? When you are a soldier and your friends start to die around you start hitting back as you are trained you do not do this for no reason, the GCs killed this guarantor who was invited to the island by your own perverted leader makarios at the UN yet what did you do you triggered off killing and violence against an army which responded the only way it was trained to do in such a situation.

...you are talking about the coupists, which is clear, they were very few. why generalise except to make your point, by generalising now untrue.

You just ASSUME we killed thousands. You don't know how stupid you look considering you don't even know how many Turkish soldiers lost their lives in 1974. When you learn the real numbers both you and lordo cocuk will need a hole to hide your head in the sand.
Next time remind us to greet them with lemonades. After all their planes were not throwing us Napalm bombs, their were throwing us rose water.

what a stupid boy you are. first lot of soldiers landed and got killed. the first lot of soldiers parachuted were also killed. this was not eoka doing this, this was ng and civilians. who gave the order to the ng to shoot the soldiers of the guarantor country who was invited by the ousted president. in the meantime roc implemented the aphrodite two plan to surround all the tcs and wipe them out.

you dont even know who is who and who meets whith who in cyprus politics. and you are going to embarrass me or anybody else about accuracy of the numbers. what difference do the numbers make. you are one stupid idiot who has not got clue.

So what are you saying there were like 10 or so coupists shoot and bombing the TA? and the rest of the GCs had their flowers to hand out? please get your brain into gear you people messed up big time you yourselves invited Turkey here and then shot and killed them what did you expect them to do, they did what every army does under fire fight back.
