important lesson of a lifetime.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

important lesson of a lifetime.

Postby Lordo » Wed Feb 06, 2013 1:17 am

today i attended a meeting at the parliement listening to 10 trade union chiefs of the trnc. these people represent the 95% of the tc workers in trnc.

one after the other i heard them slate the trnc ungreen policy of karpaz. the collusion that has taken place to set up the whore houses and the cassinos in the north. how trnc is taxing them trade. how trnc is blocking the trade of tcs with the gcs.

and i am thinking bloody hell kikapoo was right all along. maybe i was at a meeting of the elam trade unionists. but no i checked and they were trnc trade unionists.

but then a question came along. what are the gcs and the gc trade unions duing for the unification of cyprus. absolutly nothing. what are the gc unions doing about recruiting tcs that work in the south. in fact they are blocking tcs from joining them. this is the unions doing this not the government. i was preparing myself for the biggest let down when the annan plan was mentioned. i was sure they would recite what kikapoo says on this forum. to my absolute surprise all 10 union leaders supported the annan plan even though they hate turkey. then it dawned on me. kikapoo is the ass of the world. far from annan being a speraratists plan it was the last chance to save the north form becoming terkish. and we lost it.

then they dropped the ultimate bombshell. terkey gives trnc 350 million dolars a year as a loan. last year trnc imports from terkey was 1.4 billion dolars. where the hell did this money come from. they answered that too. it is the gambleing and sex starved gc and terks from terkey who stand side by side in the casinos while they gamble and take turn on the whores from the eastern europe.

what a lesson.

Lordo... you need to go and lie down. You're posting whole sentences.

This is BillC wrote about this several hours before the meeting, in another place...

..."Err... boys and girls, these are not only the leaders of the trades unions in the Occupied Areas, but also the leaders of the Resistance to the Illegal Regime of "tnctnt" up there and to such as the Turkification Policy, to the Illegal Settlers Policy.
These are the chaps who have organised the demos and protests over the past couple of years up there.
These are the group who were brave enough to tell Erdogan to go "asihktir" to his face when he visited CY 18 months ago.
That's not to say they'll agree with many of us, that's not to say they'll reach out to us cos so far there's no evidence for that... but they are worthy of a little respect and attention.
... and they will speak their minds, they ain't anyone's fools, so such as the "Friends of Cyprus" are gonna be in for a little surprise..."

I 've read your 2 posts very carefully lordo. So you got some lessons you said...Fair enough
I am wondering however whether this was the first time you heard about those things. Is it so?
Let me just do a minor correction on the matter of cazinos and whorehouses, the clients are also Israelis over the weekends

There is also another correction: the last 2 years very few Kibrislis cross to work, simply there are no jobs even for the Kypreoi anymore..
Secondly all Kibrislis working in the free areas are free to join the same union as their Kypreoi colleaques. The example you wrote the other day about the TC teacher was a very rare case.

You are asking what the Unions do about re-uniting Cyprus.
What would you do if you were them, or what do you suggest?
