I don't think the video has anything to do with multiculturalism. Those children already adopted the Greek language and they can be asimilated and become part of the Greek culture and nation. So where do you see the problem?

Their parents are not Greek. Am I eligible to become English just because I speak English?

their parents came as immigrants to make a life in Greece, indeed. their children may know little of their parents' tongue, aren't they Greeks regardless born there, and then are their children denied a Greek identity because if you will, they may not look Greek, humour us kurupetos, what would you call them?

...English you say, to make an analogy, Cypriots are to British, as Greeks are to English, and you don't have to be English to be British; just a thought, is Britain moving toward a Bicommunal nature, what with Scots so able and the Welsh in need as well?

This post just proves that kurupetos is a xenophobe and further doesn't even understand the term "hellenism" he claims to promote. "Race" has nothing to do with being hellene, culture does. That's how hellenism spread throughout the world. Thus all these beautiful children are hellenic precisely because they speak the language. Indeed I am struggling to see what is so "multi-cultural" about the video. It is mono-cultural, namely Greek. If kurupetos really supported hellenism he should be proud that people from other parts of the world are learning the language.

Originally I wrote "racist" but edited it to "xenophobe". I say "xenophobe" because Kurupetos is not dealing with a problem that he created, and though he is getting there, I do not believe he as yet fully supports the "White" imperialists agenda. This is in fact what the real racists want. They want to blind Cypriots into identifying with "Whites" so that they can bolster their campaign of imperialism. Kurupetos needs to wake up to the fact that he is not "White", that "White" culture represents an anti-thesis to his own, until synthesis can be reached and we are all neither "White" nor "Black" but just "human". Let us be clear, Cyprus does not have "racists", it has "xenophobes" and that is the problem we need to deal with.

Interesting stuff... Poverty, war, etc. are usually the products of discrimination, i.e. multiculturalism. That's why killings are so frequent in the US.
