The water situation in the Free Areas of the Republic is that amount of water in the dams has gone down from 43% to 38%, a fall of just 5% during the Summer.

At the mo there are over 110 Million Tonnes of water sitting in the dams, that's over 100 tonnes of water for every man, woman and child, with water left over for visitors.

The six desalination plants are producing in the region of 250,000 tonnes of very nice and wet water every day.
