...given that 60% of the water is lost through infrastructure leakages, it's a good start. you won't be getting water soon from Turkey (the deadline is now three years away). and if it is true that these pipes are attached to the "project of the century", it is only because Turkey will install them themselves, your regime is incompetent and corrupt, unable to conserve water themselves, unable to maintain and supply an infrastructure for water themselves.

The 3 years you refer to is to do with infrastructure not the arrival of water through the current system. Why are you people so worried?

why am i worried?

nothing comes for free...

...and if you are Cypriot, whether Turkish or Greek, you should be worried too.

read your post vp again, what are you saying, it makes no sense, it is playing with words, it says nothing. your water needs are now. it is you who associates these pipes with the myth of water coming, i merely observe that the leakages in the current system can and should be repaired, it is at least a start, although it took Turkish action to do this job, not Turkish Cypriots, if it is true, as you say, that these pipes are a part of "those" pipes.

...of course being a "Turk", you are understood by "Turks", but to the rest of us Cypriots, you are no better than the "Greeks" who occupy their time in denial.

i love Cyprus; you?

You would be worried if you read Kanli's article in Hurriyet yesterday which reported on the severe water shortages in the Turkish capital Ankara.

Water cuts in Ankara going on for dozens of hours at a time. In some districts for days at a time.

Hope the good people of Ankara aren't asking too many questions as to why their water shortages aren't being sorted, whilst their tax-money is being thrown at the water needs of the "ungrateful" in CY.
