From the purely Cypriot point of view it is a negative move, it creates one more dependency on the "motherlands". There is plenty of water on the island if we wanted to use our heads to conserve and produce. Having water brought in simply postpones us using OUR heads. This from a divided economically bankrupt south Cyprus which takes 40+% of peoples savings...Turkey appears to be the better choice dont you think Repulse.

talking of sharing water is very interesting. it goes back to 1964 when our water pipe was very close to a gc village and they broke into it to water their land with our drinking water.

we certainly know how to share water in cyprus.

vp, even in disarray, the south represents a better way of life, which at "your" best is not even close to equal; but that is not the point is it, unless Turkey is a better choice over Freedom.
