Umit, please explain something to me, please, because Lordo simply just cannot.

Lets put aside all the so called who want's to control the water in the north and so on. Why is it that in the meantime, the so called water from Turkey in not filling the dams but instead supposedly flowing into the sea? What sense does that make?

I tell you what would make sense why the dams are not filling with Turkish water, but instead it is being allowed to flow into the sea, it's because perhaps the water from Turkey is bringing salt water from the sea to the sea. In other words, the water pipes under the sea may have ruptured and allowing sea salt water to mix with the fresh water.

But then the question arises, why continue pumping salt/fresh water into the sea. That doesn't make sense, hence the reason why I said "supposedly" the water from Turkey is flowing into the sea.

Sorry but, I really can't trust Erdogan and gang to come clean with their failures. Same goes to Lordo also.

...it was said in the Famagusta Gazette the other day that, using the existing infrastructure, water from the dam reached Famagusta. Frankly, i did not report it because, having waited so many years, literally, already, i got lazy; i'd like to report that someone actually drank the water, but it is/was not the case.

...in real terms, i have come to realise how small this venture really is, in terms of capacity; after all this time it does not work. Its success at least (or failures) cannot be studied, it is proprietary, a (German) company has been contracted, you won't find a single Turkish University, or student, who has published work on this subject. What bugs me most is that it is not an innovation of National importance, as it is billed to be, it is a bobble. Without academic, and policy applications, it benefits, those of Erdogan, for Erdogan, not Turkey: and by no means Cyprus, or the rest of the world, if he remains true to his form.

...crazy as it sounds, that water, when (if) it arrives, has the potential to represent the "Peace water" it has been suggested to be; only his (Erdogan's) intention must change.

Well after nearly 3 1/2 years and 249 pages of comment and debate the water from Turkey is now being delivered to houses in the TRNC. Just in time I would say as I think Cyprus is going to be in dire shortage of water this year.
