The water deal imposes tough terms on the TRNC. Under the accord, Turkey pledges to supply the TRNC with 75 billion cubic meters of water annually, and the TRNC pledges to buy the entire amount. Turkey retains the right to re-sell the water to third parties, which means that if the Greek Cypriots are interested in taking water from the pipeline, they are supposed to negotiate with Ankara, not the TRNC. A private company will have exclusive monopoly rights on the distribution and sale of the water from Turkey, along with exclusive rights on the TRNC’s overground and underground water resources for 34 years.

Reminds me of the Annan Plan, nothing really for Cyprus or Cypriots, more to do with "Turks". You can decide Lordo, to join against such blatant "capitalism", you can choose to shrug and accept whatever "they" subject you to; your choice.

you can yawn till the cows come home. your property was stolen by a pirate state unrecognised around the world. mine were stolen by my government legally recognised round the world. there is a difference.

...Lordo, you bore me because you do your utmost to apologise for the idiots on "your" side, while the same dudes, as you call them on "my" side somehow, are somehow different. You bore me with your cheap excuses, and conspiracy theories, and you bore me with your, "just give up attitude". I don't need new air, you do. I'm just hoping that you get the idea soon enough that, if you are Cypriot, you can be Cypriot, you don't have to be "Greek", or "Turk".

i live in the real world and it is no different where you live. be it north nicosia or north london or north paris or any other north of any city.

as bobby said and he is right.

you have to serve somebody. fact of life. that somebody is the corporate world or the devil or what ever you may call it. do you really believe that you actually live in a country where your vote counts towards something? the current voting system dates back to thousands of years. why do you suppose it never changed in all these years.
