There’s a lesson to be learned here for BillC (<-- the arch-idiot and all the other GC idiots who followed him over the cliff in this thread) that you should never hype up something that is very doable via international expertise in this day and age.

END OF THREAD

PS: BillC, you may now delete your useless account and go back to flipping burgers.

...i'll wait for the 29th, and them i'll watch and wait until they actually create the infrastructure that should be there already, and finally i will watch to see the water in each and every household, as Cypriot water.

...it's not over, it is still just Propaganda; we'll see.

Halil, stick it, in case you think we give a fuck. It is you poor MFs that are going to be oppressed even more by you motherland, and that would serve you right.

So you approve and support Turkeys violation of Cyprus sovereign territorial rights, some F Cypriot you claim to be. Hade assirktir tourkospore.

You think this is insignificant? If this is a success then they are going to flood the place with settlers who as we know only know doing farming and agriculture. It's one thing to have enough domestic water for daily needs and another to have as much as you want to develop agriculture.
If this is a success then within 2 years they will install another 10 pipes. We know they will also install an Electricity cable imagine what will happen with nearly no cost electric power coming from that nuclear power plant...

My opinion is that it is very unlikely for this project to be a success because there is no international expertise available (OK they got they joints from a real expert company) but that's all about it. The project does not have provisions for repairs/maintenance and if anything goes wrong the pipes will explode and the project has to be rebuilt.

Oh and btw I think the water they are pumping right now is coming from a ship.
The outlet is very badly designed and the earth around and below it will be eroded in no time if there will be a continuous flow.
This points to the fact that it won't be continuous flow. Rather occasional from ships

Seems everyone is having a pipe dream. With that logic, Turkey would have done this years ago by other methods. illegals are illegals and until they actually partition the island, which in fact, is what the TCs want, they need to keep things in perspective.

I am not concerned about this, they can bring as many as they like, people need more than just working on a farm all day.

Even if the project initially succeeds its prospects are not good.

They can't agree who should run it. http://www.lgcnews.com/turkey-and-trnc- ... anagement/

Turkey itself is short of water. https://ezraman.wordpress.com/2014/02/2 ... in-turkey/

Its effects on the environment are challenged. http://cyprus-mail.com/2015/02/08/benef ... -question/

And of course it is new technology, who is going to pay for major repairs should they occur - near bankrupt Turkey?

I heard the word Anavatan and Anavatanan (from the mother country - apo tin mitera patrida) one hundred times in that video. This makes me wonder with what kind of backwards people are we going to be supposedly live together after a solution. People who live in the 60s and beyond... Panayia mou
