the word is they are water testing which means the water has arrived. i just dont have the picture as yet. my journo is over in terggy looking at the dam there. just as i get the pictures here in gibriz i shall publish them too. dont you worry.

That picture has to be a file photo chosen by a sub editor in a hurry. That pipe is definitely not 1.5 meters across, it is an irrigation pipe.

The GC papers are more precise, though they give no photos. The pipe apparently is being purged now, the water is being allowed to flow to the sea to cleanse the system. Then it will be routed to the reception reservoirs and from there to Nicosia. The inauguration will be in October by Erdo himself the reports say.

Funny that there is no TV coverage of this momentous event.
