"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.
"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right! "

Rise up this mornin',
Smile with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', ("This is my message to you-ou-ou: ")

"Don't worry 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
"Don't worry (don't worry) 'bout a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right! "

Rise up this mornin',
Smiled with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', "This is my message to you-ou-ou: "

"Don't worry about a thing, worry about a thing, oh!
Every little thing gonna be all right. Don't worry! "
"Don't worry about a thing" - I won't worry!
"'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."

"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right" - I won't worry!
"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right."
"Don't worry about a thing, oh no!
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right!

The date has been moved yet again.

The cost is staggering, 576 million to do what could have been done with 40 million two years ago. The last pipe is in said the bozo, how did this happen when they are still 15 kilometers from the Asia Minor shore only a TC minister can say.

We are learning the meaning of white elephant methinks.

As an eyewitness, I sailed that part last week, I can tellyou is that there is not pipe laying going on. I checked the radar and loran on the ship carefully. No sign of any ship in the area. Sea conditions were moderate, force 5 with a six foot swell.

...scary stuff, i never expected it to be unreal, but here we are, October (end of).

Indeed the heavy lift capacity of Blimps (dirigibles) seems like a ridiculous possibility at such a cost, but it won't be so ridiculous if something as simple as a plastic pipe fails...

...who's technology is this anyway, constructed and installed by what are essentially foreigners, what is Turkish about it?

You're looking in the wrong place. I know little about the technology, but about six ships have been doing things just off the coast at Guzelyali, where the pipeline is said to be coming ashore in Cyprus, for the past week or so.

rw how many times do we have to say it. transporting gas in deep water is one thing, transferring water is another. the difference of pressure is minimal and its outwards not in. last i looked at it there was a difference of 600 psi pressure outwards. we have hoses not pipes that can take 10,000 psi pressure in normal atmosphere. the technology is there to be used. it takes courage to apply it somewhere new.

2000 years ago fellow in egypt used steam power to raise his barber chair in his barber shop. a farmer used rail track and horse to transport his produce. it took mankind another 1800 years to combine them and create the railways of today. clearly deadlines come and go because it has never been done before. for once we are using the property of plastic which does not deteriorate for good. it can only be win win for peace in cyprus.

There is no win win for Cyprus if it depends for the firt most vital resource ona foreign country, any foreign country.

We need LESS not more contact with the motherlands. Some people never learn.

The water, if it comes, is not a gift, it is a trade. The price is unknown. And if it is limited to the north fine, take it and shove it. Post solution it will be interpreted as a Federal obligation to pay for the water regardless of who uses it.

Would the TCs accept such an obligation if the source were Greece? Think of it that way to realise the repercussions.

Stop acting like a schmuck.

...sounds like a hypocrite talking, in trade as though you pick and choose. Greece, Syria, Lebanon, so called Palestine, Israel, or other Cypriots are not that far, but, the mighty Turkey will not trade with you, because it is as you say, if "Turkey" wanted to, "you" would be living in paradise ; embargo wot?

...the water is reparations, simple as that, water, for all Cypriots, that is the only political course which brings for Turkey, a maximised positive result.

Sharing of such an important resource where both have, and they are joined, is a huge confidence building measure.
It signals an intention for an identity which has eluded them till now, as Cypriots, the willingness to defend each other.
