Water - The Propaganda Regime of "TRNC" ...???

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Jerry the pressure within the pipe will have been calculated to ensure that there will be enough ' force ' to allow the water to flow from Turkey, down into the water and drop to around 200 or so meters and then rise again out of the water on the TRNC shoreline. A column of water 10 meters in height will give a pressure at the foot of the column of one bar. So around 20 bar will be needed to equalize the pressure from sea level to the depth of the pipeline ( in actual fact the pressure would have to be greater than this because of the added atmospheric pressure of the sea water, but it will give you an idea ) after this the internal pipe pressure will have been calculated to be great enough to maintain pressure to where the storage depot is. If the pressure needs to be altered down then PRV's or pressure reducing valves can be set in the pipeline to regulate the pipeline pressure. If the pressure needs to be increased for any reason then pressure pump sets will be fitted along the pipe.

let me explain.

first of all the pressure of one atmosphere is 14 psi. so at the depth of 280 meters it will have a pressure of aprox 400 psi. the water in the pipe will have a hight greater than the sea level. for every 10 meter of water hight in the pipe the pressure goes up by 14 psi. if it is a hundred meter drop that pushes the pressure up by 140 psi.

the hight of sea water will be counteracted by the hight of same water inside the pipe up to the sea level, so it will not have any resultant pressure on the pipe. all they have to worry about is the hight of water in the pipe that is above the sea level which is whats needed to drive the water to the other end.

there are hoses built that will take 10,000 psi water pressure. we are dealing with minimal pressures in comparison.

to answer the idiot who suggested that the pipe was doing a u turn. obviously he did consider that the pipe will be allowed to sink up to 280 meters so it needs to meander on the surface. the engineers must have worked what length they need and so are ready to sink it and tie down to the position it needs to be.

whale can reach depth of 7000 feet and cope with it.

Sewerage is the only thing on offer from Turkey because Turkey is just a huge sewerage system.

You’ve invested in the region’s greatest sewer so what do you expect to come out of their pipes?

Gold? :lol:

even sewer water is recyclable my dear friend. when there is no other water available. the arabs are complaining the terggs have dammed up furat and dicle rivers so this sewers water as you call it cannot get to them. the damming itself does not disadvantage people down stream if the water is just used to produce power but in firat and dicle area it is used by farms so the flow down stream is greatly reduced.

It could be useful to bring as many settlers as possible. I have an idea. :idea: :mrgreen:

...typical, the time could not be better, it happens time and time again, when things are looking good, an end to the Problem possible, throw in something hostile, then blame it on the "Greeks", that they are hostile, to "Turks".

...i ask, how will Akinci demonstrate that he is no "Turk", although he is Turkish, how will he demonstrate that Cyprus counts, first?
