Is there nothing Academic where Universities have been involved? Is there no opposition, at least, no debate, as to alternatives, the costs and benefits? This is my biggest disappointment with this project, where it has failed the most is its transparency, it appears to have absolutely no value, other than the political benefit for propaganda.

Lordo at least asbestos pipes are replaced....new water tanks constructed....new motorways constructed ...these are also new gains if there is no water .....new generating plants are arrived.....so we are happy ....let them to talk from behind.

The one who is talking nonsense is the one who after 161 pages did not bother to look at the design of the project and thinks the water will flow directly from the AlanKopru (?) dam to the Panagra dam via gravity. This is impossible and the Turks know it. The elevation of the dam in Turkey is such that is enough to explode any type of pipe used. Instead they will bring the water down to a town near the sea and then pump it.Look at the designs and their advertisements.
The other guy who talks nonsense is the one who doesn't know the cost of electricity to pump water from Panagra over the mountains through Kionelli to Nicosia.Elevation difference 300m if I remember well
And the 3rd guy who talks nonsense is the one who never bought a small pump to send water to his roof which is only 3 meters high and then check how much his electricity meter charged him for just one ton.
2 Euros per ton is the minimum you are going to pay the Turks , but you won't pay anything because they are going to fill the dam at Panagra with ships and have it there for emergencies or /military reasons.
