Well they can always shut off the supply in times of drought, the tap is at their end.

Maybe it will take a few cuts to make some knuckleheads understand the value of desalination, grey water use, conservation and other such things not celebrated on July 20.

As to underground pipes and such there is an ulterior motive in claiming that they laid the grid, to project the same old objection to returning the Morphou area because it will contain so much "investment". Reminds me of the thief who did not want to return a stolen bicycle because he had painted it.

Why couldn't we be neighbors with the Swiss or the Portuguese FFS!

water pipe job completed between Çamlıbel-Göçeri village. we are also completed to new pipe system. usually we were supplying the water towards the Gönyeli-Boğaz. looks like our waters will be added to new system.

The mature approach to the subject of if or when is why . why would claims of this nature be made and it ends up all a myth? Why would Turkey make claims and not come with the goods . What would that achieve . I can understand to a point making political claims against the greeks because politicians will be politicians but these claims would have a devastating affect on the relationship with TC s and Turkey so I don't for a moment think this is a myth . If you see the amount of infrastructures built by turkish firms then you can see why they would want to bring free flowing water. It's not just for the TCs its to build a self reliant infrastructure that is the basis for a fully functioning country . Their objective is plain and clear and you are too blind to see it because you thought by joining EU that you would have leaverage but the basic things in life is what is the leaverage .

Because whenever something big or great is built in Turkey, regardless which foreign country builds them, Erdogan and gang are always there to have their pictures taken to show the world of "Turkey's great achievements", and the water pipe being labelled as the "project of the century", surely Erdogan and gang would be the first to touch the arriving water from Turkey to Cyprus. So where is ALL the fanfare of this "great achievement" by Turkey's leaders, or even by the leaders of the "trnc"?
