its funny cause you are clueless. tcs lost their property first in 63. there was no law to return them to their owners why would there be one now for gcs. you must feel very special, the chosen ones like.

fool on lady.

February 1964 TMT thugs rounded up ALL the Armenians in Nicosia and expelled them. It was the first case of ethnic cleansing in Cyprus, and it still stands to this day, Armenians were never allowed back to their homes in Nicosia.

No TC was ever divested of his property in RoC. No titles were ever modified. As opposed to the trunc that "nationalised" all property not belonging to TCs. Racism if the foundatio nof the trunc.

there is nothing like an educated fool who convinces himself of his own myths. before making such stupid posts perhaps a visitation to petrofan, goshi, aysozomeno istinjo softalar and countless others is in order my brainless friend. see how many tc properties have not been divested by the roc. what a joke.

Lordo,

You are trying not to understand, which is not unusual for you. The RoC has not changed the property rights of TCs, they are able to claim their property and use it, with the proviso that they are not in possession of GC land in the occupied territories.

There is a trustee for the management of TC property.

Friends live in a TC house in Lefkara, and they need permits for any work on the house, even painting. They pay rent to the trustee, and they will never, ever, get title. They cannot even sublease to their daughter.

Compare the above with the mega theft of GC property in the north and the resale to foreigners. Not to mention the grant of GC land to colonists.

Istinjo is deserted and crumbling, and this proves my point and not yours. Mala is also semi deserted, because GCs are unwilling to occupy others' property. This unwillingness explains why there is never any conversion of mosques into churches while the reverse is frequent. It is a cultural thing and has to do with the approach to property and wealth. That would be a little beyond your understanding.

..if it is built, it is because they (read: who ever is "building" this pipeline) don't want to share it; with so little information it is hard to think of another explanation. As for the infrastructure, that too seems little discussed, and what seems to be the main point of debate by the regime is that they have not been given any sense of their authority in these civil works (because it is not "theirs").

...It leads me to believe that the money is not there, or that the money is in the hands of Erdogan, since it doesn't seem that this project is driven by anyone else.

...long time ago, now more than a few years ago, a guy named Big Al, here (or the other place) predicted that Turkey would give the water away for free, Cyprus would be Free, so that oil and gaz from the EMed was sold to them, we laughed because his poor skills with English makes his words like poetry, all there, but you have to think about what's plain in front of you, and frankly to this day my guess, he's right.

inaguration target date is July 20. With four months left to go the piple laying ships should be busy, but they are not there. Not even in the Med last I checked. Good job the RoC did not fall for the gas for water deal.
