...tell me vp, if the "project of the century'" fails, will you give Turkey so much confidence? and if you regret the lack of water, will you reconsider putting so much faith in their words and actions; what will you do?

In the past I was not to convinced but the determination and activity in the TRNC indicates that Turkey means business this time and the water will reach and benefit our country. I even witnessed the pipes being transported from Mağusa port to Güzelyurt. Will you people apologies if it actually does happen? Why are you so intent on rubbishing this project?

Yes, there is a Plan B... Repulse has already agreed to draft an apology in plain and simple English... in the very unlikely event it is needed.

...indeed, there is no water left, it has been polluted through Ignorance, of course it is an important project, moreso because the regime in the north is incapable of acting as a responsible government body that can cooperate with other states.

...spies you say, get serious.

...yes bill, it's true, i look forward to the project's success, if Turkey can represent itself as a contributor to the end of the thirst which plagues many of her neighbours. unfortunately though, i will not apologise if it is used for blackmail, or for the subjugation of Cypriots, Turkish and/or Greek, which regretfully has been so long on her agenda.

...hello, the EU has wasted millions on water in the north because of you administration's intransigence.

...hello, an Israeli company in the north has to decide what to do with the water they produce for "your" hotels, because they do not honor their agreements.

...hello, of course you do not have to "cooperate" with Turkey, the so called "TRNC" is incapable of engaging themselves to act as its "peoples'" representatives, they are only capable of accepting handouts, and as per the first example, they are not even good at that.

We cooperate with other countries when it is required but when GC workers are forced upon us as the alternative please allow us the privilidge of deciding whether we wish to proceed or not, this sensative issue should have been addressed by the EU at the outset, but dont worry there are enough skilled workers in Turkey to do the job, plus in comparison the water coming from Turkey will be more than enough for everyone in the TRNC.

...Turkey, Turkey, Turkey, they have qualified workers, yet the population that is your electorate have been shut out. what of your highly advanced Universities, what are these graduates suited for, why are they never the center of the progress which you espouse; something is not right with the picture you are painting.
