Reh Hrisostomos! How much for your........?
Hurry up GIG and ELAM, you better find a quick alternative - like "running a pipeline to EU over motherland Greece", your "super race" pride is at stake!
Cyprus will become an energy hub28 January, 2013
Going ahead with natural gas infrastructure plans is important both financially and politically, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Neoclis Sylikiotis has said.
Cyprus’ proposal for the creation of a South Eastern Mediterranean energy supply corridor is now being discussed at European level and has been accepted as an idea, something which several months ago was an idea just voiced by Cyprus mainly on a theoretical level, he added.
Sylikiotis rejected the idea of a possible pipeline through Turkey, recalling that Turkey occupies part of Cyprus. http://www.financialmirror.com/news-det ... ?nid=28676

No, it does not. I just added another point of view, perhaps more realistic one on what a politician may say over the Oil & Gas than a man in a robe!
bigOz wrote:As for pipeline going through TRNC to Turkey, I hope the GCs never accept such a proposal - no one has asked the TCs if they would like a pipeline going across their living space. In any case, I doubt either side would be willing to accept any such proposal before an agreement is reached on Cyprus problem (probably long after you and I gave died and fossilised!).
It's safe to say, that as long as Turkey is not in the EU or even have any potential of being in the EU, because that would mean Turkey solving the Cyprus problem first, neither will be the Cypriot Gas & Oil be in Turkey, let alone the "trnc"!
