at the risk of being controversial one can describe an area of Cyprus as northern Cyprus but purely in geographical terms : what is wicked on the part of the illegal occupying power and its puppet regime is the continuing occupation of much of that part of Cyprus and the formation of the illegal psuedo state with its puppet regime and the politicization of geographical names eg the refusal to refer to to the lawful government of the whole island as the government of the ROC, but to use the incorrect appellation of Southern Cyprus.

The good thing is that the incorrect message is in Turkish but perhaps those of us who are committed to seeing the removal of the invaders and illegal settlers should adopt this campaign and explain why people should keep away from the area of Cyprus that is illegally occupied, which coincidental is much of the northern part of the Island, but should come to the south instead where tourists are indeed welcome. . .
