The very UnGreen Regime of "trnc" are threatening the unspoilt Karpas Peninsular with development.

As part of this threat they are currently driving a widened road through the top end of the Karpas between Occupied Rizokarpaso and Apostolos Andreas.

There are also plans for mainland Turkish businesses to build more hotels on the near-pristine beaches up there.

Environmentalists in the Occupied Areas are opposing these plans and they have organised a Protest Rally this coming Sunday 27th (meeting near the Blue Sea Hotel) to stop these hideous plans and to promote a special protection area for the Karpas.

Here's a picky of the destruction being caused by "trnc" for the benefit of mainland Turkish hoteliers...

In this enlightened age we're all environmentalists VP... except the senior members of "trnc" of course who have seen ways to line their pockets and those of Turkish businesses at the expense of CY's Environmental Heritage.
