I hope this goes through, but let's see if Turkey shows their true colours this time round.

Well put Ed. Ifffffffffffff.................. You leave out all the important factors.

Zan, you may well laugh, but your bigotry betrays you.

No betrayal Ed. I cant help myself but return bigotry. It might be a Cypriot thing

Oh please remind me what those important factors were?

The fact that the TC football association AGREED to this deal perhaps?

You simply can't escape the responsibility on the part of oh so clever bigots like you that scuppered this deal.

It takes two to scupper Ed. But that is not the point you want to make. Bigotry is the one sided view that you want to present

Reported in the press of the Occupied Areas today, Two Countries, Fluck Reunification Eroglu has got in on the act and is trying to kick the ball into the stands.

Amongst others, Gunes reports that Eroglu has had words with the boss of the footie association up there, calling him in to his office and insisting that these discussions should ultimately only take place under the general settlement talks, when wider political issues can be dragged in. He goes on to say there may be a case for "international matches" to played under a joint body (in other words under a federal arrangement).

Now, whether Eroglu feels that the EUFA club competitions are classed as "internationals', he doesn't, unsurprisingly, make clear... but we must be wary that Eroglu is quite happy to further continue the Regime's Embargoes on CY Football up there, denying clubs the chance of competing in Europe.

Gunes describes Eroglu's interevntion as "interference in football".

News today on this football matter is that the leader of the School Teachers Union of the Occupied Areas is saying that the discussions on reuniting CY football are being sabotaged by "...those who support the division of CY..."

He goes on to say...

“Those, who oppose to the unification of the island and the cooperation between the Turkish Cypriots and the Greek Cypriots and hold negotiations for the sake of negotiating, have once more shown that they are insincere. Mr Eroglu, who pursues a separatist policy under the guidance of Ankara, has launched an initiative to sabotage the negotiations held between KOP and the Turkish Cypriot Football Federation, just like Mr Talat and those nourished by the regime had done in the past. He continues making a call on them for negotiating for the sake of negotiations but not to reach any result, just like he does. This policy, which tries to deceive the world with the lie that the Turkish Cypriots are under ‘isolation and embargoes’, is afraid of moves that will secure any cooperation...”

Shock horror :o There will be no surrender. Negotiate like you mean it "RoC" and stop trying to get your twisted ways and treacherous plans to do the work for you.

you boys dont realise is what it is they are after. All they want is 30% of the eufa money. its only fair. as to kicking a ball i think they have a different idea when it comes to playing with gcs.

I was with the impression that it is the football associations who pay UEFA, not the other way round
