I am not sure Lordo et al. would accept such an arrangement.

Tough... is the word that springs to mind cos for one reason...

French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian says that Greece and France are signing a defence agreement...

..."Following a meeting with his Greek counterpart Panos Panagiotopoulos on Thursday, Le Drian also added “This (broader) agreement will further include a more specific one, to cover the operational needs of the Greek armed forces, notably the navy and more specifically the frigates.”

“France and Greece have always enjoyed great solidarity,” Le Drian said. He provided no further details with regard to the deal.

Earlier this month, reports declared that Athens launched bilateral talks with Paris to borrow Fremm-type frigates..."

Energy is becoming the number one catalyst in getting the western world out of its recession....Cheaper energy will fuel the next economic boom with infrastructure build up and cheaper fuel will entice investments in factories. Turkey's back is slowly moving up against the wall either they conform and follow the rule of law/sea, or they regress backwards economically and politically...its also amazing that the closer Greece comes to declaring its EEZ along the map shown above the more the Turks regress as when recently Erdogan stated that at the UN that Zionism is a crime against humanity...which was condemned by the UN Secretary General...

Pleased to see that Mediterranean "gap" (imposed between Cyprus and Greece by foreign powers) finally closed, enosied, and union completed. :D

Cyprus will share a maritime EEZ boundary r with Greece no more - no less - and the Gap between territory still exits as the territorial limits are at most 12 miles from base line. In any event no Enosis No union. You may otherwise as well say we have Enosis with Syria or Israel or Lebanon or Egypt or even Turkey, with whom Cyprus likewise shares an EEZ boundary.

Your reaction demonstrates exactly what I'm talking about.

The contiguous territory between Greece and Cyprus is why Britain and Turkey fight so hard to keep us apart.

Sooner or later the land north of Cyprus will be part of Hellas.
