How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

VP and Lordo are lunatics, completely crazy. I knew that they were terrorists from time ago. Convince me, jeez!

Lordo, is a newcomer, he has to still get the yayas out and decide for himself, although you may be right.

...vp, after all these years, should take a vacation. maybe then he'll have the guts to stand like a Man.

The more the TCs identify themselves with Turks the easier it will be to resettle all of them, at the same time, back to Turkey - just as the British wanted to do back in the mid 60s.

The UN resolutions alone contain all the correct answers to resolve the problem on the island.

And you will settle in Greece... right..? TC's are Cypriots! Their country is Cyprus! unification and reconciliation is what matters.

The RoC is in the EU along with Greece. Greeks have every right to be in Cyprus. The TCs who do not choose the RoC can resettle back to Turkey - that was first proposed by the Brits in the 60s. The EU entry criteria for the RoC allow for this possibility. Not extremist at all, but fair and caring.

You don't get it. The word "resettle" does not fit. They are Turkish Cypriots not Turks. One can not resettle on a land one has not settled on before... And who gives a flying what the Brits proposed. They have their fair share of blame in the problem. Also, many considered hitler "fair and caring"...

No - you don't get it. They were happy enough to "resettle" in the homes of GCs in the north which VP tells us is now a "foreign country". So there is no earthly reason why the TCs who do not see the RoC as their homeland should not be fairly, and kindly, resettled back to Turkey. In this case, resettled just means settled once they have been moved. It doesn't mean they have had to have been there before. Anyway, "Turkey" is just a stones throw away ( :( ) - They can think of it like island hopping; only this time they have to hop off this Greek island and onto Asia Minor and beyond.
