Find any TC you want over the age of 35 and ask them how many acrs they have where their children go to school and where they went on holiday.

There were 5000 crossing EVERY DAY to work. Each one must account for an average family of 3. So out of 80,000 REAL KIBRISLIS 15,000 or 19% were dependent on whatever jobs they could find in the free areas to survive. I bet they are all unemployed today.
the most interesting fact is that the vast majority of them were driving rusted Renaults they imported from Turkey for a few Euros. I mean totally rusted from snow, like those junk they used to bring here from England in the past.

When I last visited the neighbourhood of one of my Kibrisli friends I found 2 guys who were working as mechanics at the Mercedes agency in the free areas. At least 10 others asked my kibrisli friend to ask me if i could find them a job in the free areas...

VP you are either LIEING knowingly or you just live in your own high class circle

I think you need to recheck your figures the 5000 you boast has dropped drastically allowing the economic crisis which has closed many businesses in the south. You really need to visit TCs in the TRNC and see first hand how they live, then we can talk, if you have then tell of the area you visited where the TCs were as poor as you describe. I think you are lieing to support your claim that life in the TRNC is worse than the south or anywhere else.

There are poor people in the south as well you seem to forget this.

I was very specific when I said there were 5000.This is PAST tense and refers to the past. However the only thing that changed in the PAST 2 years is the crisis in the free areas. Nothing has changed in the occupied. Now you convince me that those 5000 are today living like kings and they are not actually unemployed.

I told you I went to the occupied many times. I described what I saw and what i heard as accurately as I could. I have never supported any claim, i simple questioned your own claims- see your own post.

There are rich and poor people all over the world the TRNC is no different but this constant chant from you people that we are destitute or that the south is some sort of heaven where the streets are paved with gold is very far from the truth.

This is your interpretation. My interpretation is this:
a)Most of the occupied has stagnated to the 1974 period.
b)The only development has occurred in very specific areas and almost all on stolen GC lands.
c)The occupied which once delivered 70% of Cyprus's income, are much below their true capacity.

The first thing that really schocked me is the little tiny roundabout in the occupied part of Nicosia that leads to Morfou. It is the same as it was in 1960 :!:

you can interpret all you like the facts are facts and you cannot change them.

the reason everythin has happened to the tcs since 1963 is the policy of suffocation by the roc.

Yeah right.... It is the Roc who told them to throw away the OFFICIAL RECOGNIZED STAMPS in 1983, so that they run out of exports... Man you are so ignorant... :P

not half as much as you my son. you go meet some ordinary tcs in the south and see what they have to go through. how does the roc take control of the property of a tc for 50 years where they cannot earn a penny from it but has the audacity to ask for all the taxes for 50 years back dated before they can process the claim to return the property.

you and the likes of you including the master debator really have no idea what an arsehole you are. not even a hint.

However bad you want to paint the north it makes no difference because no one will say hey the TRNC is bad lets unite with the GCs and become a minority so you are wasting your time.

Which roundabout are you on about? Gonyeli? where you can go to Guzelyurt Girne Magusa Lefkosa? If thats small I dont want to see a big one.

there can only be two explenations for this.

either the roc is hell bent forcing the tcs to sell their property to gcs or not to claim at all.

either way for a legally recognised state it stinks to kingdom high. talk of legalising daylight robbery of your own citizens.
