If a country called "Greece" did not exist (prior to 1831-ish) then how can a people prior to that date, be called "Greeks"?
Is being "Greek" a religion like Jews? Jews can say “we have always existed even though there was no country called Judea because our group is ethno-religious” but "Greeks" are ethno ONLY... and the problem being there was NO ETHNOS by that name!!!!!
Jews GROUPED themselves around a religion so what exactly did “Greeks” group themselves around if there was no country?
Sheep shagging?
