Rather interesting (and and point which may well bear comparison with other places ) is that though the Greek speaking Anatolian residents who were reportedly a minorirty group in every area of Anatolia (in Izmir they were apparently about 36% of the total in 1910) the Greek Government demanded territorial control and it woud surely be hyprotical to condemn he ilegal Turkish Occupation of the Northern part of the Republic of Cyprus (as I unreservedly do) without condemning similar historical events...
