Yes, thank you Lordo, bit diff, as you say, to raid pensions when they've never existed.

A post-holiday update of the actions by the striking CYs caught on the wrong side of the cease-fire line.

These are CYs who ain't been paid for some 4-6 months. The "pm" of the Rubbish Regime has made an offer to pay them 15 days money as a "retainer" if they return to their work, naturally turned down so the action continues...

A picky from earlier today from the Occupied Part of Nicosia, from outside the offices of something called "lefkosa district"...

... and one posted elsewhere on CF of the open sewer flowing through the Occupied Part of the Capital City published on 1.1.13...

Water supply sabotages...

Various sources reporting today that the water supply to some districts in the Occupied Part of Nicosia is being sabotaged and people have had to tank in water for the past few days.

Brrr... well briefly.... the workers of "lefkosa municipality" ain't been paid for 4-6 months file, largely due to financial irregularities and the incompetence and corruption that goes on with "trnc" .

To which we can add plans to lay off loads of CY workers across "trnc" through privatising public services such as the electricity supplier and the illegal airport at Occupied Tymbou and selling them off to mainland Turkish thieving "investors"... all part of the Turkification plan that comes out of Ankara.

Happy New Year A.

Do try and be a bit more selective in whom you're calling "lowlifes" or lowlives old boy... what...?

Anyway, that aside, the other news is the remarkable amounts of money that are owed by what passes as "authorities" and "businesses" in "trnc".

"Businesses" such as those operated by mainland Turkish companies and others from which the senior members of the Rubbish Regime profit. Many of these "businesses" are associated with tourism and hotels.

Between them, sources are saying that they owe an astounding 600 Million TL (300 Million USD) in outstanding electricity bills alone and Gawd only knows how much more in taxes, rates etc.

600 Million TL in outstanding electricity bills...!

Amongst which the following are alleged in the press of the Occupied Areas to owe money to the electricity supplier...

PseudoCratos Hotel 6 Million TL
Savoy Hotel,Kyrenia 1.5 Million TL
Girne American University 1.0 Million TL
Lapithos Hotel 932,000 TL
Club Asena 62,000 TL
Famagusta Sema Hotel 62,000 TL

The electrical union workers, fearing for their future pay, have taken it upon themselves (rather than rely on the Rubbish Regime's Electrical Authority) to cut off or to threaten to cut off these and others, with the result that some of these "businesses" have made over nominal deposits with promises of sticking to payment plans to pay off arrears to ensure their supplies.

I suggest they approach the Government of Cyprus and with the military backup of UN forces to force the Turks out so they can keep their jobs under a Unified Cyprus where people can be guaranteed jobs
