I did not say it fell before the Invasion. I said it fell days after Klerides took over. The Junta fell a few days after the invasion. The agreement was for DOUBLE ENOSIS. What went wrong was that Turkey took more than what it was agreed. Why do you think they keep Varoshia empty until today, becuse they are good guys? The Junta fell because it bet it's last cards (to keep on in power), by gaining part of Cyprus for Greece, regardless of the fact that another part would be lost to Turkey. It bet and it lost miserably, nothing worked out as then CIA promised them, for one they expected whoever took over to declare Enosis immediately, not even stupid Sampson was that stupid to do that...
You have to read more about how stupid the Junta people were and how the CIA was actually running Greece back then... You were damn too lucky that such people existed
