--The Taksim cause for a separate Kibrisli state here in Cyprus, was based on the fact that there was a risk for their future in case of Enosis of Cyprus with Greece.Hence we had the conflict between TMT and ex Eoka groups during which the Kibrisli community as being the weakest suffered the most.
--That suffering, is used today by the pseudo state as their major ** excuse for still aiming at 2 separate States in Cyprus while the Enosis dream does not even exist. This automatically raises the question which of the 2 excuses for wanting a separate state was ALWAYS A LIE? The first one, the second one, both? So here’s an easy question for you Bill…
NB:**I say major excuse, because there are other excuses too e.g they say "we are 2 separate people, we are different, we speak different languages, we have different religion", and all those things.
It seems everybody has missed my question. So which one of the 2 excuses for wanting taksim was always a lie? The first one, the second one, both?
Neither. Do you think that you can break a vase and then try and glue it back together...as you have seen from the glue(negotiations) it will never make the vase a whole again and neither side is happy with it...enosis changed Cyprus forever.
Sorry but you have to clarify what the vase in your example represents. It cannot represent 2 things at once.
Besides I don't agree with you that the negotiations are meant to glue a broken vase. I think they are more like putting back the missing 4th Engine of the Airbus
