...but it is "Greeks", Turkey is fighting, Cypriots do not exist to them. as such there is no Sovereignty, and the issue (to them) is a question of Property.
and if the "Greeks" can demonstrate that within the overwhelming majority of Greeks on the island, that they see themselves as Cypriot, a willing partner, if you will, with their leadership within their Constituency, a Cypriot State can exist (because it is the Majority's will). although it is the solution that in any other circumstance is reasonable, a Greek State is not possible. However, a Bicommunal Principal is better, in that, if there exists a Greek Constituency, the Republic is free from the bias of having to defend this National Identity (defending the Right to a Personal Identity instead), since it sustains itself, (equally as other Constituencies) within the Sovereignty and Representation, of the State and its Good Government (as Citizens, rather than electors).
...Turkey will always have a reasonable reason (per se) to refuse so long as the debate revolves around the differences between them and (so called) Greeks.
bigOz puts Cyprus first, who else here will say that?
