Turkish soldiers did most of the killing (possibly of prisoners) AFTER they discovered the mass graves of old men and women plus children aged from 2 months to 12 years in mass graves! A repetition of what the Eoka bastards did back in 1963 and what they are best at - killing women and children!

I am born and bred TC so was my grandfather and my great grandfather etc... I spent half my life and education in Europe. I love my country as much as any GC does. We have many things in common and we have the same temprament, sense of humour and tastes in food. In Europe GCs are best of my friends. I do not fear going shopping in South Cyprus. But my main problem stems from those thick headed, ill educated, GCs who write utter rubbish fuelled by their fanatic and racist feelings and think the whole world revolves around Cyprus Meanwhile we are both getting screwed very slowly but surely by you know who! They are so blind and stupid that their fanaticism is leading them into self destruction.

I am still not satisfied and no one has shown me a good reason why Annan plan would have been such a catastrophy for the GCs. What is it they have now that they would have lost if they accepted the plan. On the contrary, the North would have lost quite a bit - but we said "yes" all for the sake of having our say in our own country, in preference to being a state of Turkey in the long run. But what does our courageous GC comrades do down South "OHİ / NO / NYET /HAYIR". Because they are forever looking for a trap or a trick behind what the TCs say "yes" to.

All of a sudden one says to the other "hade re! stop stuffing the grapes 10 at a time into your mouth!". The other one amazed at this comment says "OK OK! But yıou are blind! The Annan Plan was illegal, it does not comply with the UN's own Convention of Human Rights. Why should the GCs have to accept a plan that bent the rules so as to satisfy Turkey. Where else on this earth has the UN granted one country the "right" to intervene with military force against a sovereign State.

Given the background you claim to have, it should be much simpler. champion democracy, human rights, freedom of everything else, the rule of law, property rights, the EU aquis, etc. Stop trying to fit big square pegs into small round holes to suit Turkey and the illegal Turkish/settlers. They have no place to claim anything in Cyprus. What the TCs seem to be asking for is similar to the British Pakistanis demanding that the British government give them equal community rights and an autonomous zone under the guard and influence of Pakistan. is that right? would Britain accept that? would turkey accept that for her 30 million Kurds vis-a-vie Kurdistan? would you accept that if you were living in Britain or Turkey? I wouldn't. and I know, neither Britain or Turkey would either. Don't be a hypocrite.
