You will never see Greek scientists, engineers or doctors in a documentary testing a new concept, idea or technological breakthrough to benefit the Greek/ Cypriot people.
Those GCs displaced are doing it around the world instead. Those displaced are pediatricians, engineers, solicitors etc etc
No good being a melon farmer in the UK
Flying Horse is a new member, just for the RECORD.
I present to you what I've being saying for nearly a decade.
They are doing it....., and I quote 'AROUND THE WORLD'
They can't seem to do it in Cyprus and they sure as hell can't seem to do it in Greece either.
Yet they're doing it 'AROUND THE WORLD'
Thank you FH
I can only speak of what I know.
Put it this way, Cyprus is strong all over the world. Her people may not be with her, but they certainly aren't weakened or diluted by the countries they live in.
One day, I might tell you the tale of a pediatric surgeon, who happens to be the Cypriot honorary consul in Scotland. What happened when he took a moment of his very very busy time, to help a stranger find whats left of her Cypriot relatives(haven't found them yet) was truly amazing ....
Being a Cypriot nationalist, I would like to hear your story.
Our people are cream of the crop, but according to me, our best have left the country and our talented youth are planning to leave.
when you're intellectually gifted or talented you are certain to leave for a place that will appreciate your talents, preferably a MERITOCRATIC civilization like the Anglo American countries.
Cypriots of the Diaspora put up your hands.
Australia?
South Africa?
United States?
Canada?
Great Britain?
You're still THERE though!
Nostalgic maybe? Of Course you are!
Patriotic? Oh for sure!
But you aint trading the life of MERITOCRACY and prosperity to one of Greek engineered corruption, nepotism and 3rd world mentality, correct?
Flying Horse, you still with your adopted country? You have a good life yes?
