Thank you for admitting you gifted 37% of Cyprus to Turkey. And then you have the nerve to accuse Eoka that it attempted to gift it to Greece.
You hypocricy has no limits

Really Pyro whos the biggest hypocrite, your desire to gift 100% of Cyprus to Greece which was the cause of todays division or what you call only 37% enosis with Turkey?

OK i am good at maths lets calculate:
82% wanted to gift it to Greece-once upon a time-but failed-Result is zero but responsibility is 100/82=1.21
18% wanted taksim- they ended up gifting 37% of Cyprus to Turkey-Result is catastrophic responsibility is 37/18=2.05

So my maths say the taksismists are hypocrites by a factor of 2.05 and the Enosists by a factor of 1.21

Pyro sorry but you have to go back to school and retake Maths, 82% including yourself is a bigger percentage than %18 therefore making the GCs bigger hypocrites, what was right for GCs is now a taboo for us thats being a hypocrite. Your calculation is ourr success ratio which you are trying trick us with.

thousands of greeks died in the balkan wars(crete) and ww2(dodecanese)to obtain those islands.England didnt give them to greece.

And many more died, especially in Crete, during revolutions which were staged hoping to achieve "Enosis" with Greece.

The Dodecanese islands were liberated from the German garrisons by the "Sacred Company", a commando force of Greek volunteers, mostly former officers of the Greek Armed Forces, who were trained in the middle East as commandos and paratroopers, led by a few British officers. After the liberation of the islands, Britain tried to hand the islands over to Turkey (!!!!!). Fortunately this was avoided thanks to strong and effective actions of the Greek military and political leadership of that time and the reactions of the inhabitants.

Indeed. There is no accusation or allegation in his speech that EOKA attacked or harmed the Turkish Cypriots.

.......And finally, on June 7, 1958, the Cypriots - Greek and Turkish- turned onto each other.

He forgot to mention why this happened 3 whole years after the EOKA struggle had started.

I just remind everyone that it was just when the Turko-British plan for partition intensified or, rather, started being implemented with murders of Greek civilians by the TMT, arsons, distructions of schools and churches etc.

These are advance maths trust me. You could even calculate the success to catastrophy ratio:It's 100% for the taksimists and 0% for the enosists
