Can any clever person (oh, I forgot, this is CF)....Can any person tell me the likely tax increase on a litre of vodka from the revised tax on alcohol proposals?

About €1.45 extra according to this http://www.cyprus-mail.com/austerity/an ... g/20121207

You will obviously have to ask for a big pay increase to cover that with your consumption!

That is one tax unlikely to affect me too much...

Who knew the Russians could prove so useful?

- I have a small area of eczema (where my right wrist leans on the mouse-mat :? ) - so perhaps I'll rub a little vodka into it and see ...

"Mouse-mat-itis"!

I have conclusive 'proof' that the Greeks invented Vodka..but lost the recipe and distilled Tsipouro instead.

I can't believe we have people who live in a country that produces Zivania critisising Vodka lol!!!!

French Vodka is available in supermarkets here for around €6 a litre :-)
