The labour Minister Sotiroura Charalambous opposed the criteria of new bill in which Turkish Cypriots and third nationalists will not get free medical facilities in the state hospitals.
The bill according to Charalambous is presented out of petty party thought is which political influenced discussion could be done. She further said that government and politicians should have considered all the economical and political matters before putting it in the form of bill.
The bill was opposed by DISY and DIKO in the parliament. The bill requires that only those who have either submitted a tax statement or contributed to the social insurance fund for three years will have a right to free medical and drug care in government hospitals.
They say the measure will save up to 30 million euros a year.

...the Minister of Labour is on your side, is she "Greek"?
There is a wrong word there. It should be "proposed". DISY is the party of Anastasiades, who almost certainly will become the President next month...I beleive they just proposed that bill to get as many votes as they could from the Nationalists. In other words it was a bubble.
btw Anastasiades was the one who supported the Anan Plan in 2004
