Democracy never prevailed in Cyprus. The mistakes of the past revolve around the root cause of this whole issue and that was and is the apartheid the TC's had. The GC's never had an apartheid, they never abused their power, they never invaded foreign lands and inflict their will on the native population, what they wanted was what was fair for everyone. If you dont want a repeat of the mistakes of the past then the TC's must stop trying to impose some apartheid and facist system of governance on GC's.

Again you back track, we are right in our belief that you cannot trust GCs. A BBF 2 state solution is not apatheid.

This has got to be one of your worst posts yet, for your information I was educated abroad so unlike you I was not subjected to the GC brainwashing of youth you underwent. Now lets get a few things straight we have just as much right to Cyprus soverignty as you do, so no one is stealing anything, private land issues are totally different to the ownership of soverignty...you need to understand this before you can move forward otherwise you will remain where you have been for the past 39 years, south of the border, the soverignty of Cyprus does not belong to solely GCs TCs have a stake as well, do you understand this?

As for keeping us locked up we are exposed to all the international organs although we are not members, but the most important issue is to solve the Cyprus problem we have to be consulted and our decision carries 50% weight, you cannot do it on your own or you would have erased us from the island a long time ago.

Now if you want to move forward you have to try and comprehend that you have to share equally, a balance has to be struck where neither state can dominate rule or undermine the other, where the structure cannot be maipulated to the benefit of specific citizens of a united federal Cyprus.

there is no way we can live together unless under bbf and a very loose fedweration. if you look at the laws they have passed since dec 1963, in efffect the southern cyprus is greece. vp, i used to think you were wrong and given reasonable time we could live in one zone. but in reality that may take at least a few thousand years to change gc mentality so they can accept that cyprus is not actually a greek island.

i get a feeling this may take even longer than that.
