AP did not respect Democracy, Human Rights, International Law and the EU Principles. Their so called support was a conspiracy to trick Turkey in believing that they were supporting the AP which Turkey went along with it thinking they had Cyprus all for themselves. Their aim was to get the RoC into the EU without getting Turkey too upset too early before it had actually happened. Do you see any of the above supporting the AP since 2004, and has Turkey not gotten very upset that the RoC is an EU member?
CASE CLOSED!
You like trying to close cases must give you some sort of buzz, but the bottom line is you are not above nor do you know better than the UN EU USA all of whom supported the AP.
So where have these actors been since 2004 to demand to bring the AP back during the last negotiations if they really supported the AP, and further more, why did they not insist before 2004 that unless both sides said "YES" to the AP in 2004, that the RoC would not be given a EU membership. Hell, they even did not keep their so called promises to lift the isolation of the north, add direct trade and investment. What more proof do you need that the above actors did and say everything they could to pacify Turkey to take the whole island away from Turkey's long term plans into the EU's arms, while they carried the RoC across the EU line to membership while Turkey and the "trnc" looked on helplessly. You think the Gas and Oil under the sea off the southern coast had anything to do with it? That's why this
CASE has been
CLOSED officially since 2004. It had been closed unofficially long before 2004 referendum of course. No wonder a day doesn't go by that Turkey doesn't bitch at the EU as to why the RoC was allowed to become a EU member even after saying OXI to the AP, because the RoC now has Turkey by it's feathers if it ever becomes serious about becoming an EU member.
