Who is your side, because it is not the TCs who are holding on to the north, but Turkey?

Ergogan has been crying lately how he wants to be in the EU, now that the fantasy of him becoming the "Supreme Leader" of the Arabs has failed big time. In the Arab world, you need to be much more clever and merciless than Erdogan can ever muster, like the new dictator Morsi of Egypt. The more Turkey takes control of the north and the more she wants to be in the EU, the more the RoC will just sit and wait for Turkey to make the trade of the north for the EU. Turkey has nowhere else to turn, but to the EU. She just needs to accept it is going to be the EU's way, or the Highway!

What are you on man? it must be real cheap stuff to have fried your brains to this degree...you live in your own fantasy bubble...when did Erdoğan bey, the man doesnt give a shit about joining the EU or he would toe the line which he refuses to do.

look what happened to the guy on the left, in the end he wasn't holding on to anything.

I now believe that Turkey will ever join the EU because she just doesn't fit.

For once I happen to agree with you, can you now try explaining it to Kikapu.

Yes, simply put, Turkey is the guy on the left who plummets to his doom. That should explain it.

Maybe you missed Erdogan and Bagis demanding that the EU to open more chapters as soon as the RoC hands over the presidency to Ireland, where Erdogan will even go to Brussels to make his claim that Turkey should be given EU membership. It does not mean he is going to get very far, but that's besides the point. Just because Erdogan is an Ottoman ignorant fool who thinks Turkey is an economic and military power house and can demand everything to be his way, he is only deluding himself. Erdogan is just a another illiterate power hungry autocrat/dictator who does not want Democracy for Turkey. Well, tinpot rulers like Erdogan come and go all the time, but in the end, a nation like Turkey wakes up and wants to become a democratic nation when they have a leader who has a vision for their nation in a democratic world. Gül has some of those qualities, so don't be too surprise with the help of the west, that Gül becomes the President in the new Presidential system in 2014 to lead Turkey towards a democracy EU style. Naturally, people like you who are benefiting in Cyprus on the spoils of war are only two happy to see Turkey outside the EU for your own selfish reasons, but it will not go on for ever. Enjoy it while it lasts!

You GCs are raised as doom and gloom merchants when it comes to Turkey, so you cannot think of anything positive to say its in your DNA, if you havent been to Turkey in the last 5 years I suggest you go visit and then decide. Turkey can go much further without full membership of the EU, the world does not start or end in the EU there are many successful countries around the world who are not members of the EU, get over it.

Calling Erdogan illiterate only shows your own stupidity, biased and hate towards Turkey, Turks and Turkish Cypriots which you display at every opportunity on this forum. If Turkey wanted to get into the EU she would jump through the hoops but do you see any moves in that direction. Turkey has been clearly told by the big players of the EU that at best she will be made a special partner which in effect shes is today, so theres no real incentive to make changes if there is going to be no benefit from the EU in the end. When we apply this viewpoint to the Cyprus problem we clearly see i am right as the talks have ground to a stop and neither side is really working for a solution everyone has more important issues to deal with. As for benefiting from the current situation propaganda you throw about hoping it will stick makes you look the fool you really are, as it is the TRNC that is under embargoes and where economical development is limited and the GCs are milking our recognition for all its worth, so the side benefiting is clear for all to see.

If Erdogan wasn't an illiterate, then he would be able to read the EU's report on Turkey each year on what Turkey needs to do to even stand a chance to become an EU member, but what does Erdogan and his illiterate gang do, they keep asking for the EU to open more chapters without first fulfilling any of the prerequisites the EU has asked of them.

Maybe Erdogan and the gang are not illiterates, but complete nincompoops. Feel better now?

Yeah right... holding billions if not trillions worth of stolen Lands and properties and resources, selling them to foreigners, donating them to settlers etc, and you still cry that you are are NOT the side who is benefiting from this.
Only fools could claim that, but then again the Kibrislis have a record on believing the lies of their segregationist leaders.

This is what happens when the law is disregarded and UN resolutions are not enforced or implemented, you get a bully boy trying to impose his "political solution" which is illegal and noone wanted in the first place.
