in january i am coming to cyprus to teach tc children turkish in the roc. can i join the teachers union in the roc.

I doubt you can join OELMEK. I think it's only for GC teachers. TCs may have a different union.

thanks for that my old chum but what does the name mean in english please.

how can an union in an eu country be only gc. under which clause of the true human rights is that allowed. little grasshopper tells me that spanish teachers can join it. is the roc aware of this situation and what are they doing about it.

so is it an only christian union.

If you ever read the 1960 Constitution you will find out this is the law. :wink:
