They blocked the entrance intimidating and abusing anybody who tried to cross. which clause of the human rights legislation are people allowed to intimidate and abuse people to go about their daily life with the police doing nothing?

is the banana republic really in the eu. may god help us all.

...it's a Free country, at least, although you like to call it a banana republic; unlike the north where if someone flew a Cypriot Flag, they'd get arrested (or shot).

no it is not. if it was mankind would still live in caves. democracy and human rights must be respected. banana republics do not respect democracy or human rights. roc started as such and i see no evidence of it changing.

certainly you should be free to demonstrate but stopping people going about their business and abusing them while wearing black face masks is not part of democracy. comparing yourself with any other banana republics real or otherwise does not help.

Thank you for the word salad lordo.

mankind does not live in caves anymore, that's right, so why behave as such. There is no point stealing Greek Cypriot property and trying to pass it off as a separate state. If the Turkish Cypriots respected democracy and human rights in the first place, Cyprus's problem would not exist and neither would these masked people.

They just want to go back to their homes, so why are the Turks stopping them going about their daily business and abusing them with a 'banana republic' which no one recognises?

The Elam demo was a peaceful one, as where other demos at the cease-fire line yesterday including one by school-children.

Very different from the situation in the Occupied Areas, where para-military thugs in "police" uniforms, toughs in the pay of and under the control of the Turkish Occupation Army, moved against CYs demonstrating peacefully against the visit fifteen months ago of the PM of the Controlling Power, Erdogan, with unionists viciously attacked, beaten up and hospitalised...

This long version hasn't as yet been posted on CF...

A vid which shows CYs of the Occupied Areas on a peaceful march being attacked by the thugs of the Rubbish "tnctnr" Regime for holding flags of the Republic and for bearing simply-worded banners...

All this is within reach but you have to agree the terms to get there, thats where you are not clever enough and will continue the future of the TRNC. Just think before you react your actions are the reason for your predicament.

This sort of answer is expected from someone who cannot face the reality in front of them, the island will remain divided unless you agree the terms that will unite it, simple really.
