Yes, What appalling and disgusting statements from the Turkish Puppet Eroglu and they are connected with the events of the past few weeks in the Occupied parts of Nicosia.

The supposed leader of "tncntrcn" has shown no leadership in getting to grips with the situation, the Occupied parts of Nicosia are in some measure in a state of anarchy and so Eroglu, in time-honoured fashion, is trying to distract attention from the out of his control situation by appealing to his power base, the few remaining nationalists and the Illegal Settlers.

Fortunately these statements are back-firing on him... not only of course are they being condemned in the Free Areas but also by many CYs living directly under the Turkish Occupation, people who are already fed up to the back teeth with Eroglu and his Rubbish Regime and who are seeing Eroglu's new barrier, these statements on Varosi and Territory, as a de-railment of dialogue and the trashing of their hope of a better future through Re-Unification.

He's inflamed an already tense situation up there. He may well just have poured oil on to the smouldering fire of opposition. Stand back Eroglu...!!!!

of course i support the striking workers in the north who are being asked to work whilst not being paid. i was also against selling kthy to the turks whilst you boys rejoiced and the workers who worked there were all made unemployed. i am against any sales of any utilities to the turks including telephone and electric generation and distribution in support of the workers who work there.
i also support the workers of greece who are suffering becasue of mismanagement of their politicians. i will also support the roc workers who will suffer once troika forces cuts on to the civil service.

that does not mean that everything is fine regarding civil service north or south of cyprus but just throwing people on the dole is just not good enough. by all means evaluate the needs and readjust the numbers but do it humanely.

call upon all tcs and if some gcs feel brave all gcs to join the protest on wednesday in front of saray hotel not far from ledra crossing.
