As for the bank account etc, the system usually works in a different way, as the ARAMCO system in Saudi indicates. In the beginning the people who pump out the resource TELL US, how much we get. And considering the above pattern of gas deposits, the accounting seems unlikely to include those who have partitioned themselves off as special cases. Hardly a week goes by without an Israeli official visiting Athens for talks on gas terminals, while Greek shipowners are ordering dozens of new LNG carrier ships.
Partition is a double edged sword. You chose it. At this stage it looks like you cannot unchoose it. Stuck with it and the humongous flags on the mountain for consolation.
