Hi. :)

As requested, here's an interesting link to blood donations in Cyprus, EU.

A analysis of blood donation at country level reveals some significant differences, but
no particular geographical skew. The countries with the highest levels of blood
donation are Austria (66%), France (52%), Greece and the Republic of Cyprus (51%).

Overall average in EU is 37%.

Haven't you heard yet?

The EU Central Blood Bank has said the blood donorship in Cyprus is at unsustainable levels and are contemplating introducing a levy for all blood donor amounts above 15 ml. :)

The European Central Bloodsuckers Bank, has issued a change to the recent announcement about blood haircuts brought to you by Pahpitis, in a surprise amendment they have announced Blood Haircuts of *41% , The spokesperson for the ECBB, Mario Draghicula said this was **necessary to insure the Bloodsuckers could continue to provide the much needed life support for Cyprus.

*40% or greater is usually considered the maximum amount of blood that an adult can loose before the body can no longer compensate. In an 80 kg adult this would be about 2.24 liters. http://askville.amazon.com/blood-person ... Id=4927243

**Exclusions apply.
