As the internationally-recognised government of the island I am sure the ROC will take into consideration the rights of all of its citizens to share in the Republic's natural wealth be they Greek Cypriot, Armenian, Maronite or Turkish Cypriot. Of course, those living in the Turkish-occupied areas will need to be re-united in the ROC before they can share in anything. Let's hope they get a chance - otherwise they might end up with bugger all.
un has already expressed the opinion that it was wrong to start drilling without an agreement. you will find they will wash their hands off anything that may happen after.
the only question remaining is what will the usa position be. if they give the go-ahead god help us all.
